Salvador Rodriguez is the Director of Bands at Isaac Middle School and MS Band Lead for the Isaac Elementary School District where he has served since 2019. In this capacity, he directs the Honors Band, Symphonic Band, Concert Band and Beginning Woodwinds, Brass, and Percussion classes.
Under his direction, the band program has consistently earned top ratings at area and state festivals. The Isaac Band Program's recent accolades include being a featured ensemble at the 2024 Arizona Music Educators Association Conference, recipient of Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation Instrument Grant in 2022, and recipient of the NAMM SupportMusic Merit Award in 2022, 2023, and 2024. On behalf of the program, Mr. Rodriguez was the recipient for the 2024-2025 Dr. William P. Foster Community Development Award.
Outside of his service at Isaac, Mr. Rodriguez is the Assistant Band Director at Mountain Ridge High School and the ABODA Vice President of Elementary/Junior High Band Activities. He is also an active educator and adjudicator around the state.
Mr. Rodriguez holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from DePauw University (Indiana) and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Education Leadership from the American College of Education.
