I'm sort of a modern day renaissance man. A life-long learner, I have a wide variety of interests to keep my mind occupied after work including photography, craft beer, reading, my Airedale Terrier, and especially going to watch movies.
Initiated into Sigma Chi at Tarleton State University (1996), I’ve served in a range of leadership roles across the Fraternity, including Chapter Advisor at UTSA, President of the San Antonio Alumni Chapter, and House Corps President for the Tarleton State University House Corporation.
Today, I lead national expansion efforts to establish new Sigma Chi chapters and reestablish dormant ones. I also serve as Province Governor (Grand Praetor) for Central Texas and Dean of the Praetorial College.
In addition, I am a certified Risk Management Facilitator and a Values-Based Decision Making / True North facilitator for Sigma Chi leadership programs. I have supported chapter strategy development at Texas A&M and Vanderbilt, and founded two alumni chapters in San Antonio and Stephenville, Texas.
My undergraduate education is in music, and I am a classically trained opera singer with 20 seasons in the San Antonio Mastersingers and 4 with the San Antonio Choral Society. I’ve performed alongside artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Barry Manilow, Star Wars in Concert with Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), and Video Games Live.
I made my Carnegie Hall debut in 2008 with Mozart’s Vesperae solennes, returned for Mozart’s Requiem in 2023, and am scheduled to appear again in 2026 performing Fauré’s Requiem. I also sang High Mass at the Vatican during a 2012 Italy tour.
I currently serve as Chorus Manager for the San Antonio Mastersingers, overseeing operations for a 120-voice ensemble, including auditions, scheduling, policy development, CRM management, and coordination between the Board, Artistic Director, and chorus.
