Bio

Isaac McFarlin is Assistant Professor of Education and Economics in the College of Education at the University of Florida. He is also Affiliate Assistant Professor of Economics in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. His scholarship and teaching focuses on the economics of education. Before joining the University of Florida, Dr. McFarlin was a research scientist at the University of Michigan and professor at the University of Texas – Dallas. Isaac McFarlin received his Ph.D. in economics from Northwestern University and B.A. in economics and mathematics from Boston University.

McFarlin's research has been published in the Review of Economics & Statistics and Journal of Public Economics. His research has been supported by the Institute of Education Sciences, U.S. Department of Education, Smith Richardson Foundation, Spencer Foundation, and the Walton Family Foundation.
