1. Color Scheme: Grey background, black text, and red highlight
2. Inclusive Language: Adding a Gamers Glossary page and an About Us page
3. Mobile End: Larger hamburger button in a proper location
4. Reformat Calendar: Adding a search function for events in the calendar
Rationale:
Class feedback of our Mk 1-4 redesigns were helpful for our team to refine our recommendations to the client for redesign. The above confirmed redesign choices were present in one or more versions of the first four designs so rather than choosing just a single redesign to carry forward, we chose to propose a Mk 5 redesign that is a composite of the successful design ideas from across the first 4 proposals. The choices listed as confirmed because they were commended by more than one class reviewer as being based on a solid rationale and as accomplishing the goal of improved usability for the client site.
1. Embedding a Google Map to display store location
Rationale:
One reviewer recommended us to add map views on the footer and Contact Us page so that people could know the exact location of the store without googling. We definitely think this is an amazing suggestion because not every visitor of the website will have the patience to checkout the address on Google Maps manually and implementing a map view would be more convenient for customers to locate the store. Additionally, a footer and Contact Us page with embedded maps will be visually rich and engage the users better.

2. In the Calendar page, only displaying dates that have events
Rationale:
We received an excellent recommendation from a class colleague regarding the calendar of events on the Gopher Mafia site. Since each calendar is sparsely populated with event information much of the calendar in view is a waste of screen space and contributes to visual and cognitive clutter. The recommendation to create a calendar view that focuses attention just on the dates in which there is an event scheduled presents a solution we think is worth implementing. One option was to use a calendar list view but with a site that is already laden with text we prefer an option that is more graphic in representation. We use the image from Yohta as inspiration and will consider these additional features:

Rationale:
We have found that keeping the glossary outweighs removing it due to redundancy concerns. This is so because it creates more inclusivity to individuals who are not regular gamers and therefore may not be knowledgeable of these terms. The store should be a welcoming space for the general public in the champaign area. Moreover, there are many acronyms used that it may even be convenient to have the glossary as a refresher. The glossary is an option and will be set up as a link, thus if a user does not want to view it they do not have to click on it or open it.
2. Gothic Font
Rationale:
Regarding the gothic font suggested by one reviewer, we have concluded that the change in color scheme in some of the redesigns already serves to make the font more clear and visible to read. Additionally, not every game has a dark or horror type of theme, so it does not quite make sense to apply the gothic font to the entire site.
3. Allowing membership login
Rationale:
There is also one reviewer suggested that the website should have a common user membership function in which people can log in and post comments rather than just have administrative access to the archive. We agree that this is a good idea, however, we think the main purpose of the website is to post news about the store, instead of selling merchandise or discussing games. Moreover, the store has several social media pages such as Facebook and Instagram, game lovers and store customers can comment and communicate there.
