Is It Okay To Download Windows 11 22h2

I performed the Windows 11 22h2 update today and it updated successfully. However, I am no longer able to connect to my schools internet. I am able to connect to my schools guest internet but not the student one. I've run the trouble shooter, but it hasn't been helpful. Is this an issue with the update or my schools internet. If it is a problem with my schools internet is there some way that I could uninstall the update (I am unable to do it through settings) so that I could go back to when it did work?

I also took two days to upgrade Windows 11 22H2 then restore 21H2.

I observed that the root cause of connecting failure is NOT support automatically use windows logon name and password (and domain if any) when authenticaion.

Dell 7420 fleet: The systems were purchased to handled Windows 11 so they meet all standards.

When running PC Health check you get a message your corporation manages your updates, despite having the regedit keys applied that allow Windows Updates/Feature Updates. The panther files also confirm that the PC Health is okay and should update. The clients have all Dell Updates Firmware patches, and at each try over the last two months were at the latest patch release.

Note: reverting the Windows regedit keys allows directly patching/feature update using Windows 11 native process, however these same settings do not help K1000 feature update deploy/complete. randomly the following arise:

1) windows to enter password appears in secure desktop mode

2) after entering pasword veracrypt Windows disappears

3) but screen is now empty and grey and not responsive

4) only work around is : CRTRL+ALT+DEL then ask disconnect

Hi have a bug when clicking on "fichier / file" in veracrypt main window, to open a encrypted file.

Veracrypt freezes since the last windows update with explorers tabs activated.

The workaround I found is to copy the complete path-filename in the field...

Does anybody have this problem?

I have been using Veracrypt 1.25 (64-bit) with encrypted file container for some time on Windows 11 following the last windows KB5019509 Cumulative update. I am getting Veracrypt Freezing on find file.

I have not been able to copy path filename into the veracrypt find field.

I've just tried to upgrade to windows 1122H2 but firefox was unable to access my profile stored on an encrypted drive. This is odd because Thunderbird had no problems.

I tried reinstalling firefox and veracrypt with no sucess so I rolled back to windows 10.

Is this a known issue?

I will be returning to windows 10 stock in the meantime after atlas has managed to break my AI overclocking utility, which I have been using alongside my computers BIOS to ensure my overclock to 5GHz was staying stable, without this utility, my overclock is unstable.

I just want to preface this by saying, no offense, but I think you misunderstand the project and its intent. I DO think that there is some mixed advertising on what they're setting out to do as far as "optimizing windows for gaming," which can lead to this confusion, but ultimately, this is meant to "privatize" the windows experience.

Firstly, you can see all of this projects inner workings and what it does to your system on github, as it is open source. That is the benefit of being open source; being able to verify the integrity of what the developers say. Personally, I am not a developer, so I cannot speak to the changes and how they're inherently affecting certain parts of your system, but what I can say is that Atlas has been floated around the reddit privacy community for some time, although discussion there is dubious as far as benefits over just "debloating" windows yourself, although that was during a time when they were still distributing directly modified ISO files. Now, essentially, all this is doing is running post install scripts that modify the base install of what is a genuine windows ISO obtained from Microsoft, which is a security benefit for the end user.

With that said, this leads back to the confusing marketing of being a "gaming" oriented windows modification, rather than a privacy one. If we put this in the context of being a privacy based modification, it makes more sense why things like defender and other Microsoft related services are disabled by default, as the point is to remove the "phone home" features present in your standard windows install, but by extension, this improves performance because there are FAR LESS background services taking up system resources. They explicitly advise windows defender not being available and suggest using your antivirus of choice, so at least they are transparent on that front.

Again, I'm not a developer, nor am I a security expert, and am unable to give you technical explanations, but I've spent a lot of time skulking around the internet and privacy forums and have picked up these teachings in my time. This project, as I understand it, is similar to that of Ameliorated 10, potentially having developers from there, which you'll find targeted the "privacy first" marketing pitch and not one targeted at gamers. AME 10 was touted as a way to use windows for those who needed its features, without the need for its invasive practices, and was touted as a great option for privacy conscious folks. I personally did not use it, because I did not want a modified ISO, but I have used similar services, like ShutUp10. I plan on using Atlas because I'm now using a genuine ISO with post install modifications being done, so I feel more comfortable to hop on board for my windows needs.

Edit: also, as others have described with network and Bluetooth adapters in other posts, you might need to install your drivers. The install guide explicitly has you disconnect from the internet to prevent Microsoft changes during the install, and its possible windows does not have your device adapter drivers in the base install. You can see in the guide they even suggest downloading your network adapters prior to completing the install.

Windows defender is removed because it draws alot of performance. Also, windows defender breaks Atlas tweaks and can possibly break your install. (Update: Windows Defender is coming back in v0.3.0 as an optional choice.)

Your "Honest Review" posted on your homepage referred to 'Upgrading' to atlas over a stock Windows 11 install from 4 Days ago.

Please read wisely, i believe this person is saying that he runs stock windows 11 before and upgraded to Atlas (by installing w10 22H2 and applying atlas). Also you can create your own version of W11 Atlas with our config files in the "scripts" i mentioned above. We also can't control anything posted on Trustpilot, so these reviews did in fact came from actual atlas users.

Note that i didnt do any further tweaking after pressing ok as windows didnt allow me to uninstall the Cumulative Update/Security Update all i did afterwards was restarting the pc to check if messed up something.

I think I managed to turn off the (onedrive) sync and Plugins but this didn't help.

I uninstalled and re-installed (using windows installer, I dont know where to remove from registry etc...), many different versions - didnt help.

I tried from the top windows (in which I can see) to open some screens (such as development) - didnt work (i.e. can't see on the white??)

Hey, I'm having this same issue. When I tried to open Samsung update, it brought up the windows alert of "trying to make changes on hard drive..." multiple times. Then it eventually got to the screen with the loading icon, but just stuck there loading. Tried closing and reopening, also restarting the laptop but same issue. Is this what is happening with yours? Did you find a fix or anything else out about this? Thanks!

I used the Windows 11 22h2 ADK and Windows 10 2004 ADK WinPE Add-on, no editing of registry and unattend x64.xml or any other customisation being suggested to do in most guides, even from Microsoft. It just works normally without anything else to deploy Windows 22h2 OS. I was able to deploy Windows 22h2 OS on Dell Latitude 7480 which is not supported in the documentation but its working well

Yesterday after I posted here i tried to deploy Windows 11 22h2 with the WinPE 11\10 and WinPE Add-on for Windows 11 21h2\Win 10 22h2 on the 7480. It worked until the point of going to Next Phase after OS installation and it crushed. I opened the computer and Windows was installed though not properly finished 2351a5e196
