Throughout my academic career, I have been privileged to collaborate with outstanding colleagues across Europe on research that connects economics, health policy, and societal resilience. My work has always aimed to translate data into actionable insights that inform evidence-based public policy and improve lives. Between 2017 and 2023, I was affiliated with several leading European research institutions:

European COvid Survey (ECOS)

I'm a Co-Founder and Co-Principal Investigator of the European COVID-19 Survey (ECOS), a longitudinal pan-European research initiative launched in March 2020. The project brought together leading institutions — Nova School of Business and Economics (Portugal), Bocconi University (Italy), Erasmus University Rotterdam (Netherlands), and the Hamburg Center for Health Economics (Germany) — to study citizens’ attitudes, behaviors, and policy responses throughout the pandemic. ECOS produced high-frequency, cross-country data that supported policy decisions, media coverage, and academic research across Europe.

Our findings were featured in multiple international media outlets and contributed to public understanding of health policy, vaccination uptake, and social acceptance of preventive measures.
