Introducing DeepSearch

iRun is an app designed natively for MacOS, and ported to iOS and iPadOS. iRun enables users to run any kind of AI on their Apple devices, from LLMs to image generation models, coding agents and much more. iRun provides users with all the power they need to generate AI content offline, directly on their devices.

This enables a few things for users such as complete privacy, you can have the app and local AI models running fully offline if needed. It is also the eco-friendly option, since you do not need data centers, you can simply use the battery of your device to power your dreams. One of the best things that it allows for users is customization, tailoring exactly how responses are formed, managing different agents or personalities.

• Free for everyone (Unlimited token usage for Local Models):

• Chat - Local or remote chat with an LLM, works perfectly on iOS, iPadOS and MacOS. (*tool usage is MacOS only)

• IdeaGen - Brainstorm ideas, concepts, create entire project plans

• Remote - Client/Host connect (Use a second machine- like a MacBook, to get the inference done. Recieve the results on your phone) - This feature works via Apple Airplay

• Pro Users:

• Agentic Mode - (Plan, Build, BugHunt, or set it to "Revolver" so it automatically works). Agentic harness with tool schemas (very light - around 4k tokens), code complete, tool calling, agentic tools, and much more. (MacOS only)

• DeepSearch - A searching/researching agent with web functionalities, currently in testing. (MacOS only)

• StoryGen - A story engine with page-by-page story writing (AI writes for you). Feed it ideas or let it come up with some on its own.

• ImageGen - Sd-turbo and sdxl-turbo models for image generation (GGUF ONLY) work perfectly on iOS and iPadOS, larger models (sd and sdxl) work fine on MacOS.

• Manager - Manage, create, load, delete and edit personalities, attach them to specific models. iRun knows the difference between base model and the profile, so you can choose to load either on command.

• Workflows (Planned, Coming Soon!) - A mode to map out custom workflows with custom AI personalities from the "manager" tab. More information will be available upon release. (MacOS only)

iRun is FREE to download and use.

The free-tier features are Chat, Remote mode (client/host) and IdeaGen. These provide users with unlimited token usage locally (on-device AI), and privacy (offline mode). iRun also offers a Pro-plan, which provides several other features (especially for MacOS-see above question).

The current pricing plans are as follows (updated May 2026) for the Pro Membership:

iRun is fully private, and can run AI models offline on any models of iPhone, iPad or Mac which came out after September 2021.

• Download an AI and chat with it offline

• Code fully offline (*Cloud models require a connection)

• Generate images fully offline by downloading models

• Most features and functionality works fully offline, with the exception of DeepSearch and Web-Search (and other similar tools/tabs).

iRun collects ZERO user data. However, cloud providers can collect/transfer/share data, and iRun has no control over how providers operate with your data.

iRun is FREE to download and use.

• This means unlimited token usage for all users using local models, regardless of their membership status.

• Avoid the "usage limits" and data-collection practices of cloud providers.

• Available (mostly) offline, meaning you can use it anywhere, anytime

• Eco - Friendly: Since iRun does not use servers or data-centers to host the features (everything happens on-device), you are contributing to the planet by using local AI instead of cloud providers.

• Fully Private - iRun never "logs" anything, your history, generated images, chats, are all deletable and even available in Finder. As long as you use local models (and avoid online features such as deepsearch), your data will never leave your device. If you really want privacy, select an empty folder as the working directory, iRun can only "see" the folder you give it access to (by default it uses a blank folder).

• Cost: unlimited token usage is cool, but features like agentic coding, story generation, image generation, shouldn't all break your wallet. iRun provides all of these features, natively and offline as well, for the price of a cup of coffee each month.
