Iruka ENT Clinic is an ear, nose, and throat clinic located near Goi, in Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture.
Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) is the medical specialty that treats diseases of the ear, nose, and throat. We provide care for patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors.

To truly understand each patient's condition, a doctor's medical interview and examination alone are simply not enough.
At our clinic, the doctor, nurses, and administrative staff work together to listen closely and learn as much as possible about each patient's condition and background.
We spare no effort in medical interviews and examinations to reach an accurate diagnosis. The examinations we perform in ENT care — various hearing tests, endoscopic examinations, and more — are carried out collaboratively by the doctor, nurses, and administrative staff, and one distinctive feature of our clinic is that patients can review the results together with our team.
Our administrative staff do more than handle reception duties. They take turns supporting care and examinations inside the examination room and entering medical records into our electronic charts — work that requires them to build considerable specialized knowledge. At our clinic, we don't believe administrative staff should only handle front-desk tasks without understanding the conditions our patients face.
When it comes to shaping a treatment plan, the doctor is responsible for explaining the condition and choosing medication, while the nurses and administrative staff work together to give detailed explanations and advice tailored to each patient's situation. When this collaboration works well, we are able to choose the treatment that best fits each individual patient.

Our Clinic Offers Several Specialized Treatments
1. Dizziness/Vertigo Clinic
Our dizziness clinic practices treatment for dizziness and vertigo that does not rely on sedatives. By adjusting the autonomic nervous system's function — something the body naturally regulates — we can improve and stabilize symptoms of dizziness.
Dizziness is closely tied to lifestyle habits, so treating dizziness can also be thought of as treating lifestyle habits.
2. Treatment of Hyperlipidemia (High Blood Lipids)
Hearing loss and dizziness can also result from impaired blood circulation. In many cases, hearing loss or dizziness in people over 40 is caused by reduced blood flow to the inner ear due to arteriosclerosis. 3. Preventive Treatment for Nasal Allergies
For patients with hay fever, we explain practical ways to avoid inhaling pollen. Depending on the severity of symptoms, we prescribe oral medication preventively, before symptoms appear. A growing number of our patients are able to get through pollen season without the usual suffering.
Ichihara, where our clinic is located, is rich in nature with many fields and farmland. In addition to cedar pollen, grass pollen (such as orchard grass and perennial ryegrass) spreads in summer, and pollen from the Asteraceae family (such as ragweed and mugwort) spreads in autumn. We recommend preventive treatment not only for cedar pollen allergies, but also for allergies to grass and Asteraceae pollen.
For patients with year-round allergies caused by dust mites, we consider how to reduce dust mites in the home environment by improving living conditions.
This approach allows us to reassess treatment that can otherwise become a matter of simply continuing medication indefinitely, without much thought. This is especially valuable for children suffering from nasal congestion and runny nose caused by dust mite allergies — we perform regular severity checks, and families are often very pleased when symptoms improve.
