We Have A Dream

Festive giving for the migrant worker community during the yuletide season

Nov 24 - Dec 30 2020

#WeHaveADream

Our Christmas edition is back for its third year. Every year, Singaporeans have helped us get closer to our goal of reaching out to each of the 750,000 migrant workers on the island with a small token of appreciation during the festive season.

This year, given the challenges the migrant worker community has faced, there is an even bigger impetus to make it special for them!

GIFT IDEAS:

Towels, Power Banks, Headphones, Water Kettles, Top-up Data Cards, Tiger Balm, Toiletries (Soap, Shampoo), Umbrellas, Raincoats, Sunglasses, Caps, Backpacks, Waterbottles, TShirts, Dental Kits, Slippers and Gift Vouchers (NTUC Fairprice, Mustafa or Sheng Siong)

Non-perishable Chocolates & Cookies, Dried Fruit, Nuts, Energy Bars, 3-in-1 coffee

** All gifts must be NEW and GIFT WRAPPED

**If you plan on giving anything outside this list, please clear with us as the workers have limited space and we prefer to give them items they will like and use

How Can We Participate? Can I volunteer?

1. Drop off Gift Wrapped Presents

You can drop off gift wrapped presents at any of our designated drop-off points. These will then be collated and sent to migrant workers at their worksites and dormitories.

Click here for the list of locations where you can drop off

2. Christmas Treats

Please consider sponsoring meals, sweets or chocolates, or care packs for our migrant worker brothers as a festive treat
OR

Pre-arrange some treats to be sent over by IRR to sites and dorms we identify over the course of the festive months.

Click here for more info on how to do that

3. Be a Christmas Santa

While we cannot arrange distributions like the previous years for us to interact with the workers, you can help drive over the gifts to the workers.

Click here for more info on how

4. Donate to Ray of Hope

You may also choose to donate to the Ray of Hope campaign.

The funds are used to purchase essential items like meals, groceries, and utility purchases (hair trimmers, cookers, phones, data topups, etc) for migrant workers as identified by ItsRainingRaincoats.
