I teach PHEAL 214 - Epidemiology in both Fall and Spring of each year. This course is required for PHEAL, but the course is open to all.
Epidemiology is the study of patterns of disease and serves as the underlying application of the scientific method to inform public health intervention. As an undergraduate course, we balance learning how to calculate common epidemiological measures with immersing ourselves in the historical and philosophical foundations of epi.
