The 2019 Rugby World Cup Prequel

WE'RE PLAYING THE WHOLE WORLD CUP IN ONE AFTERNOON

OPEN TO EVERYONE!

COME AND HAVE FUN

Have fun & fundraise for a club charity tour!

In 2017, Ironsides U17s toured to Zambia in conjunction with the Tag Rugby Trust, one of the club's charity partners. They delivered a fantastic coaching and outreach programme in local townships, based around the game we all love. It was an amazing and positive experience for the lads, so we're doing it again next year, taking lads from U16s to U18s. Find out what the first tour got up to below…

Playing in this tournament will help us do this again!

AT THE CLUBHOUSE

Sunday, 29th September 2019

From midday

We need 20 teams!

The aim is to have fun, bring the whole club together and get everyone involved:

THE SMALL PRINT

Teams must have a minimum of 6 players, but can have more.

Of those 6 players, ideally 2 must be women.

If you play with 3 or more women in your games, you will be awarded BONUS POINTS.

We hope each team might donate £100, but we want you to play, so all we ask is that you donate whatever you can.

DETAILS ON MAKING YOUR DONATION WILL BE SENT AFTER REGISTERING

WHO DO YOU WANT TO PLAY AS?

Bigger Donations = Choose Your Country

The biggest donation gets to choose their country first. We go down in a sliding scale. For donations of the same amount, teams will be drawn out of a hat.

First load of Ironsides donated kit & clothes has been delivered to Zambia!

Through the generosity of the whole club, friends and associates, we collected a huge amount of clothing, shoes, sports kit, balls and school books that have now been distributed to those in need in Zambia.

Let's do it again

Bring any unwanted kit or clothing to the tournament

Unwanted Clothes Needed

A great time to clear out your wardrobes and put all the items no longer worn to good use: T-Shirts, sweatshirts, jumpers, jeans, jackets, socks, shoes, trainers, etc. One for the ladies – bras – as many young women in these communities can't access or afford them.

Old Sports Kit Wanted

A great time to pass on all the old kit you've out grown: playing tops, shorts, socks, tracksuits, boots, trainers, etc.

RE-USE IS THE BEST WAY TO RECYCLE!

BRING ANYTHING YOU WANT TO DONATE TO THE TOURNAMENT
