Our Privacy Commitment
IronGate: Data Vault is built on a privacy-first foundation. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect (spoiler: almost nothing) and how we handle it.
1. Information We DO NOT Collect
We do NOT collect, store, or transmit:
Browsing history or web activity
Personal identification information
Device identifiers for tracking purposes
Location data
Photos, media, or files you process
Search queries or typed content
Network activity or IP addresses
Passwords or security credentials
Game progress or cognitive training data
Contact information
Analytics or usage statistics
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Apple-Managed Subscription Data
When you purchase a subscription, Apple processes the transaction. We receive only:
Subscription status (active/expired)
Receipt validation data (processed locally on your device)
We do not have access to your payment information, name, or Apple ID.
2.2 Technical Data (Local Only)
The App stores data locally on your device, including:
Content filtering preferences
App settings and configurations
Cognitive training progress
User preferences for features
This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or third parties.
3. How We Use Information
3.1 Subscription Verification
We verify subscription status locally on your device using Apple's receipt validation to unlock premium features.
3.2 Local Functionality
All App features operate entirely on your device:
Safari content filtering uses locally stored rules
Media processing happens on-device
Password generation is computed locally
Cognitive games store progress locally
4. Data Storage
4.1 Local Storage Only
All App data is stored exclusively in your device's local storage using iOS secure storage mechanisms (UserDefaults, Core Data, or local file system).
4.2 iCloud Sync (Optional)
If you enable iCloud sync in iOS Settings, some App preferences may sync across your devices via your private iCloud account. This is managed entirely by Apple, and we do not have access to this data.
5. Safari Content Filtering
5.1 How It Works
The Safari content filtering feature uses iOS Content Blocker API. Filtering rules are:
Stored locally on your device
Processed by Safari, not by the App
Never transmitted to external servers
5.2 What Safari Processes
Safari itself processes web content to apply filters. We do not receive any information about websites you visit or content that is blocked or allowed.
6. Third-Party Services
We do NOT integrate:
Analytics services (no Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
Advertising networks
Social media SDKs
Crash reporting services
Third-party tracking tools
7. Data Sharing
We do NOT share, sell, rent, or trade your data with anyone because we don't collect it in the first place.
Exception: We must comply with valid legal requests (subpoenas, court orders) if required by law, but we have no data to provide beyond what Apple may have regarding your subscription.
8. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Since we don't collect personal data at all, the App is safe for all ages under parental guidance.
9. Data Security
9.1 Local Security
Data stored locally on your device is protected by:
iOS built-in security features
Device passcode/biometric authentication
App sandboxing
9.2 Network Security
Since the App operates offline-first and doesn't transmit data, there are minimal network security risks.
10. Your Privacy Rights
10.1 Access and Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device:
You have full access to all App data through the App's interface
Delete data by clearing it in the App or deleting the App entirely
No data remains on external servers after deletion
10.2 Control
You control:
Safari content filtering settings
Which features to use
When to delete the App and all its data
11. International Users
The App operates entirely on your local device regardless of your location. No data crosses international borders because no data leaves your device.
12. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act:
We do not sell personal information
We do not collect personal information for sale or sharing
You have the right to know we collect virtually nothing
13. European Privacy Rights (GDPR)
For users in the European Economic Area:
We do not process personal data
No data controller/processor relationship exists
You have complete control over local data
14. Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect:
Changes in legal requirements
New features (maintaining privacy-first principles)
Clarifications to existing practices
Material changes will be communicated through App updates or App Store descriptions.
15. Data Retention
Since all data is stored locally on your device:
Data persists until you delete it or uninstall the App
We retain no data on servers
Uninstalling the App removes all data (unless backed up to iCloud by iOS)
16. Do Not Track
The App honors "Do Not Track" principles by default—we don't track you at all.
17. Apple Privacy Requirements
This App complies with Apple's App Store privacy requirements:
Privacy nutrition labels accurately reflect our practices
No tracking across apps or websites
No data collection beyond what's disclosed
18. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The App does NOT use:
Cookies
Tracking pixels
Device fingerprinting

Safari content filtering may interact with cookies on websites you visit, but this is handled by Safari, and we don't have access to cookie data.
