Bio

Michael F. Wade brings a unique prospective to firearms training. The exchange of information with people is his passion. As lifelong learner, he believes learning/training never stops. He believes all of our experiences in life leads us to where we are today, and we should use this experience when we interaction for people. Michael also teaches accounting full time at the University of Louisville’s (UofL) College of Business, while maintaining a CPA practice. His areas of teaching interest are auditing, managerial accounting and accounting information system. He is also the Program Director of the Master of Accountancy Program at the UofL College of Business. Michael is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army. His most challenging military assignment was the Officer in Charge of the Army Logistics Operation Center at the Pentagon three months after the 9/11 attack. These positions have provided an opportunity to work with people and understand that each person has unique learning styles. He is a Certified Public Accountant and has degrees from several universities. He is an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, NRA Certified Safety Officer, president of the NAAGA chapter in Louisville, KY, and an USCCA Certified Instructor. He also held number management positions in finance and accounting at UPS Airline. In his free time, Michael is an avid golfer, tennis player and collegiate/USTA tennis official.
