Just curious, player iron marines a long while ago and now picked it back up, and i'm considering getting myself invasion, but I'm not so sure its worth a purchase... i remember the first one ended up kinda leaving me wanting after I beat the final boss and that past that point there really wasnt anything left to really do. And with opinions mixed online (and most of them old as well), i wonder if i should as well just stay with the first game.
The most important thing is because the design of the map is no longer confined to a continent, Ironhide can design different style of planet, an endless stream of enemies and levels. Currently only two open planet, I think for the iron man ironman could not stand a night, or to be more looking forward to follow-up continuous update

The game is fun enough as any rts genre plays very similarly. The hero concept and story is a nice touch. Our issues stem from a couple areas. First off, the game is littered with loot box mechanics and microtransactions. In a game that you initially have to pay for and boasts offline in the title, its insulting to incorporate microstransactions that increase your ability inside of the game. Aside from that, there is no ability to move units en masse nor can you adjust the in-game time, like you can in most other rts games. While the story is fun, the characters and overall upgrades felt very underwhelming. There is a major incentive pushed to the player, to purchase hero packs and hero points rather than leveling up through the game. We wish we did not waste our time and money on this game.
