Vision

Support the mission of I AM WOC which is to enhance education in communities while serving to make a difference in the lives of military women of color, veterans, and family members.  My vision for implementing the mission is to inspire and always empower Military Women of Color to be Leaders.  First, let them know it’s natural to be themselves, be visible, be loyal and have credibility. Prepare them for leadership responsibility through learning their history, mentoring through shared experiences and giving them the opportunity to take leadership roles within the

association to develop and apply their skills.

Plan to implement my vision.

Utilize the skills within the association and partner with other veterans' organizations that mission support our mission. Engaging our membership and actively listening to their ideas will result in an effective and realistic plan. It will also develop bonding and relationships to foster success. 

My Platform is threefold. 

1. increase membership & retention 2. maintain financial sustainability and 3. forge collaboration & partnerships.  

My Theme: “Ready to serve, armed with knowledge to inspire and empower others”.
