7-Point strategic vision

CONTINUATION OF ONGOING PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS
As Supervisor of Superior Township, I pledge to prioritize the immediate oversight of ongoing projects crucial to our community's well-being. This includes but is not limited to the installation of planned walking paths, ADA sidewalk improvements, the installation of approved speed humps for road safety, and the development of the recently acquired historic Dixboro Village Greens Park.

RENTAL INSPECTION PROGRAM
I pledge to initiate a comprehensive rental inspection program. This program will ensure the safety, habitability, and compliance of rental properties, safeguard tenants, and preserve the quality of housing and life for all residents.

IT INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS
I am dedicated to upgrading the Township's IT infrastructure for reliable and secure internet connectivit and improving the audio visual experience for online residents during meetings. 

I will enhance the Superior Charter Township website as a vital resource for residents, visitors, and businesses. This update will feature a dynamic slideshow showcasing our diverse community, parks, nature preserves, scenic drives, neighborhoods, historic sites, events, and ongoing developments, aiming to foster community pride and engagement. Additionally, I will optimize the online platform so that residents can easily access Township services, utility information, tax details, and updates on activities that enhance their quality of life. Lastly, I will upgrade the audiovisual system to improve the virtual meeting experience, ensuring clear and equitable communication and participation.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
My approach as Supervisor will prioritize boosting community engagement through active outreach by township departments. I am committed to transparent communication and will actively support the development of a community center. Building robust relationships with neighboring municipalities will also be a pivotal focus to foster collaboration in addressing our shared challenges and opportunities.

INSTITUTE QUARTERLY COMMUNICATIONS WITH RESIDENTS
As Supervisor, I will provide quarterly “Ask Me Anything” forums to keep residents informed, ensure transparency, engage the community, ensure accountability, address concerns, highlight achievements, and outline plans for the betterment of our township.

ENHANCE INTERDEPARTMENTAL COMMUNICATION AND COLLABORATION
As Supervisor, I will establish a Superior Township Leadership Team comprised of department heads. The Team will meet monthly to discuss updates and challenges and align departmental goals with Township objectives. Additionally, quarterly staff meetings will promote effective communication and collaboration, ensuring cohesiveness and efficiency among township employees.

STIMULATE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Superior Township's economic growth and prosperity hinge on collaboration across our community. To bolster this effort, I will form an Economic Development Committee. This advisory group will focus on addressing the township's economic needs, offering guidance to the Supervisor and Township Board of Trustees on strategies to promote economic development. It will include local business leaders, financial and policy experts, and community representatives, ensuring diverse perspectives and expertise in shaping our economic future.
