Kyung-Won Kim received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering and the Ph.D. degree in computer and radio communications engineering from Korea University, Seoul, Republic of Korea, in 2009 and 2015, respectively. From 2015 to 2025, he was with the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), Daejeon, Republic of Korea, where he received the Outstanding Researcher Award in 2025. Since 2025, he has been a faculty member at the department of information and telecommunication engineering, Incheon National University, Incheon, Republic of Korea, where he is currently an assistant professor. Since 2014, he has served as a Korean delegate to ITU-R SG3, contributing to ITU-R recommendations related to millimeter-wave and terahertz propagation models. His research interests include wireless communications, radio propagation, channel modeling, signal processing, machine learning, network optimization, and radio resource management.
