Getting There

Conference Venues:

AMIC, Global Point Ave, Newtownabbey, BT36 5TB (Conference, Day 1)

Riddel Hall, 185 Stranmillis Rd, Belfast, BT9 5EE (Conference Dinner, Day 1 - Evening)

Mech. & Aero. Eng, Ashby Building, Stranmillis Rd Belfast, BT9 5AH (Conference, Day 2)

Parking & Transport:

Coach Transfer:  A direct, return coach transfer will be available between the Ashby Building and AMIC on the 10th of September.  The 41 seats will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis on the day.   Timings as follows:

Departs : QUB, Ashby Building, Stranmillis Rd Entrance, Belfast BT95AH – leaving 9.15am, Thursday 10th September 2026, travelling to AMIC direct - arriving 9.45 approx.

Returns:  Advanced Manufacturing & Innovation Centre, 3 Global Point Avenue, Newtownabbey, BT36 5TB – leaving 4.30pm, Thursday 10th September 2026, travelling to Ashby Building direct - arriving 5.00pm approx.

Travel by Car:  Parking is available at AMIC for Day 1 if you are travelling using your own vehicle.  On street parking should be available in the Stranmillis Rd area for Day 2, Ashby Building.

For AMIC, Global Point Business Park the nearest Train station is Mossley West (15  min walk to AMIC through Mossley Park).

The 1C, 1D, 1G  bus services from Belfast city centre pass closest to Global Point Business Park (15-20 minute walk from Corrs Corner to AMIC)
