Irina Gorelova is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Management of Sapienza University of Rome (Italy).
She holds a Ph.D. in Management, Banking and Commodity Sciences. She obtained her master's degree in International Relations from the School of International Relations of St. Petersburg State University (Russia) and a master's degree in Quality, Technology and Certification in the framework of a double degree program between St. Petersburg State University of Economics (Russia) and Sapienza University of Rome (Italy).
Her research interests include smart city development, digital transformation, digital entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship development, regional development, smart specialization, and sustainable development.
Before starting her academic career, Irina had 10+ years of working experience as a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) in the Oil and Gas industry.
