Irina Gazizova is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Accounting at the Stockholm School of Economics, which she joined in 2020. She holds a PhD in Business and Finance, with a specialization in Accounting, from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. She is also an Affiliated Researcher at the House of Sustainable Society (formerly Misum).

Irina's research focuses on corporate social responsibility (CSR), corporate governance, financial reporting, and auditing. Her research has been published in the Journal of Corporate Finance and the Journal of Business Finance & Accounting.

She has teaching experience at both graduate and undergraduate levels, covering financial accounting and capital budgeting, as well as thesis supervision at BSc and MSc levels.
