PRINT-ON-DEMAND
Print-on-demand companies are revolutionizing the online marketplace and offering unique options to users.
People complain that when they buy from POD sites it can take a long time to receive their order, sometimes up to three or four weeks. Here is why it's worth the wait:
POD businesses are helping reduce the amount of trash we send to landfills by reducing packaging waste.
Businesses no longer need to print large quantities of goods in big batches. With the POD model, printing happens when each item is ordered. This means less waste. Also, it allows sellers to avoid having warehouses full of merchandise.
POD sellers often use eco-friendly production methods, such as digital printing, or soy-based ink to reduce waste and lessen environmental impact.
The waiting period can be inconvenient, but it's a small price to pay for all the positive things that come with using these services.
POD is a future-facing model that provides artists with easy access to marketplace opportunities and customers with reasonable shipping prices all while reducing landfill waste.
Brief Bio
My love for the arts began with childhood visits to San Francisco's fine art museums. During my teens I followed my passion for music by apprenticing at a local recording studio. I became an assistant engineer at several recording studios in the S. F. Bay Area then eventually, moved away to Maui, Hawaii for 5 years. There I worked at a recording studio by day and a radio station at night. where I was a music deejay/ news producer. These were truly amazing times but after 15 years in the audio industry, I decided that I needed to slow down and switch to a simpler, more heart-centered occupation as a nanny. - I had previously done babysitting throughout my teen years, so it seemed natural that I would return to it and find my true calling, caring for adorable babies and kids.
While exploring the world with kids, I rediscovered my deep love for nature and growing concern for sustainability. After nannying for over two decades, my interest in watercolor painting intensified. So I decided to paint at home for fun and exploration. I was happy to discover that an added benefit of making art is that the process is therapeutic, which came in handy during the lockdowns.
Recently, I've been exploring other art mediums, like gouache paint, oil pastels, and digital art. I'm always delighted to uncover new ways to express myself through art and am blessed to be able to share my creative journey with everyone.
