Enzymes are the biological catalyst of importance use. They have catalytic properties and convert multiple targeted substarte molecules into desired  products at higher speeds.In recent times enzymes are being used as therapeutic agents to treat various kind of medical conditions and diseases. Nanotechnology along with enzymology is playing a pivotal role in treatment of  infectious and non-infectious diseases.

My key interest is to find out the therapeutic potential of enzyme conjugated metallic nanoparticles. I have been doing synthesis of metallic  nanoparticles and characterization, conjugation of enzymes to nanoparticles using various biotechniques.
