For each bear you will most often need material equivalent to a medium or large long-sleeved shirt or top. If smaller, you may choose more than one item of clothing and the bear will be designed accordingly. A stretchy materials such as sweatshirts or jersey top will become a little fuller when stuffed. Don't rule out favorites with a little rip, tear, stain, or grease... that too just may be part of the sentiment.
