Yes, the researcher can start utilizing the allocated funds. For Purchase of items more than SR. 1000, they can submit request in ERP (I-Procurement). There is a buyer assigned in the purchase department to expedite the process. As before purchases less than SR 1000 can be done directly without seeking any approval and the invoices should be submitted to DROC, Accounting officer (via email dr-apo@kfupm.edu.sa) for processing.
