The INTRIQ student committee is pleased to announce that the 2020 edition of the INTRIQ Quantum Industry Day (IQID) will be held online on Wednesday November 11, 2020 and Thursday November 12, 2020.
The event will give an opportunity for graduate students and postdocs of the INTRIQ community to learn from and network with young and established professionals working in private companies with operations in quantum technologies. November 11 will be the International Day of IQID 2020 - focusing on international companies and professionals. November 12 will be the Canadian Day of IQID 2020 - focusing on, you guessed it, canadian companies and professionals.
We are pleased to announce that our invited speakers for IQID 2020 are Tina Müller from Toshiba Cambridge Research Laboratory, Félix Bussières from ID Quantique, Félix Beaudoin from NanoAcademic Technologies, David Roy-Guay from SB Quantum, Vlad Gheorghiu from softwareQ Inc., Nathan Killoran from Xanadu, and Jérôme Bourassa from Qubic.
The event will include presentations by our invited speakers about the activities of their companies, projects they worked on, as well as their transition from academia to industry. These presentations will last one hour each (45 minutes for the talk + 15 minutes for questions). A 30 minutes discussion panel with the invited speakers will also take place.
