PRIVACY POLICY FOR IPTV PLAYER - M3U & XTREAM

1. WHO WE ARE
This Privacy Policy describes how the developer listed on Google Play ("we," "us," or "the developer") handles information when you use IPTV Player - M3U & Xtream ("the App"). The App is a media player for playlists and streaming sources supplied by the user. It does not provide, host, sell, or include television channels, movies, subscriptions, or copyrighted media.

2. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE
When you add a playlist, the App may process a playlist name, M3U URL, Xtream-compatible server URL, username, and password. These connection details are stored locally in the App's private database on your Android device. They are used only to connect to the provider or server that you choose.
The App does not operate an account-registration system and does not upload your playlist credentials to an App account or developer-controlled user database.
3. LOCAL APP DATA
The App stores the following information locally when needed to provide its features:
- Saved playlists and connection details.
- Parsed channel, movie, series, category, logo, and electronic-program-guide metadata supplied by your playlist provider.
- Favorites, playback history, resume positions, active-playlist selection, and app settings.
- A local advertising click-frequency counter used to respect the remotely configured interstitial frequency.
This local data remains in the App's private storage unless it is sent to a playlist provider as described below, included by you in a settings share action, removed through the App, or deleted when you clear the App's data or uninstall it.
4. NETWORK COMMUNICATIONS
The App sends playlist requests and playback requests to the URLs and providers that you enter or select. Those third-party providers receive information normally required for an internet request, such as your IP address, request time, device/network information made available by the protocol, and any credentials or tokens contained in the playlist request.
The App downloads an advertising configuration file from the developer-configured remote-config server. The remote configuration controls whether advertising is enabled, which supported advertising provider is selected, ad-unit identifiers, ad formats, fallback order, and display frequency. Playlist credentials and viewing history are not included in this remote-config request.
Connections using HTTPS are encrypted in transit. Some IPTV providers use plain HTTP URLs. Traffic and credentials sent to a plain HTTP URL are not encrypted by that protocol and could be observed in transit. Users should prefer trusted providers that support HTTPS.
5. CAMERA AND OTHER DEVICE PERMISSIONS
If you choose Scan QR Code, the App requests camera access solely to scan a playlist URL. Camera frames are processed by the scanner and are not stored or uploaded by the App. You can deny camera access and enter the URL manually.
The App uses internet and network-state access to download playlists, stream media, retrieve remote configuration, and request ads when enabled. Picture-in-picture is used only when you choose the player PiP feature. The current version does not access contacts, call logs, SMS messages, precise GPS location, microphone audio, or files outside the content you explicitly provide to the App.
6. ADVERTISING, CONSENT, AND THIRD-PARTY SDKS
The App can display banner, native, interstitial, app-open, and rewarded advertising. Advertising is controlled by remote configuration. Only an enabled and selected provider is initialized for the requested format. Depending on the configuration, the App includes support for Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, AppLovin MAX, Unity Ads, Yandex Mobile Ads, InMobi, Mintegral, Liftoff/Vungle, Pangle, and Fyber/DT Exchange.
An enabled advertising provider may automatically collect or receive data such as IP address, advertising ID or other device/app identifiers, general device and operating-system information, approximate location derived from IP address, ad views and clicks, app interactions, and diagnostic or performance information. Providers use this information for advertising, ad measurement, analytics, frequency control, security, and fraud prevention according to their own privacy terms.
Where required, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request advertising consent or present privacy choices before Google Mobile Ads requests are made. Availability and wording of consent choices can vary by region and provider. Android advertising-ID controls are available in the device's privacy settings.
The developer does not sell your playlist credentials, playlist content, favorites, or viewing history. Advertising providers process their own advertising and device data under their policies. Review the privacy policy of any enabled advertising provider for details about its practices and controls.
7. DATA SHARING
The App shares data only as necessary for the functions described in this Policy:
- With the playlist or streaming provider selected by you, to authenticate, download metadata, and play content.
- With a remotely enabled advertising provider, to request and measure ads and prevent advertising fraud.
- With an app chosen by you when you explicitly use Android's share or email functions.
- When required by applicable law, legal process, or to protect users, the App, or the developer's legal rights.
8. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Playlist records, parsed media data, favorites, history, and settings remain on your device until you delete them, clear the relevant history or settings, clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App. Cached files may remain until you use Clear Cache, Android removes them, or you clear App storage.
You can remove playlists from Manage Saved Playlists, clear watch history and cache from Settings, and reset settings from the App. You can delete all locally stored App data through Android Settings > Apps > IPTV Player - M3U & Xtream > Storage > Clear storage, or by uninstalling the App.
The App does not create a developer-hosted user account, so there is no separate online App account to delete. Deletion requests or privacy questions can be sent to michaelgreen6566@gmail.com.
Playlist providers and advertising providers control their own retention and deletion practices. Requests concerning data held by those providers should be directed to the relevant provider.
9. SECURITY
The App uses Android private app storage for its local database and preferences. The remote advertising configuration uses HTTPS. We limit SDK initialization to remotely enabled providers and use consent controls where supported. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and users are responsible for choosing trustworthy playlist services and protecting their provider credentials.
10. CHILDREN
IPTV Player - M3U & Xtream is a general-audience media utility and is not directed to children. The App does not knowingly create profiles for or collect playlist credentials directly from children. Parents and guardians are responsible for the playlists and content made available on their devices. 11. THIRD-PARTY CONTENT AND SERVICES
Playlist providers, streaming hosts, advertising providers, Google Play, and external links are independent third parties. Their collection and use of information are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. The App developer is not responsible for the legality, availability, security, or privacy practices of a source added by a user.
12. INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING
Advertising and content providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their privacy policies describe their legal bases, transfer mechanisms, and regional rights. Where consent is required for advertising, you may withdraw or change consent through the privacy options offered by the relevant provider or device settings.
13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy when App features, SDKs, legal requirements, or data practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version. Material changes will be reflected in the in-app policy and in the publicly hosted policy used for the Google Play listing.
