Privacy Policy — IPTV Player: Short Drama TV

This Privacy Policy explains how IPTV Player: Short Drama TV (the “Application”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the Application. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Application.

Information you provide

The Application does not require an account. Playlist names and URLs, local playlist files, direct stream URLs, favourites, language preference, and application settings may be stored locally on your device to provide the Application’s features. We do not intentionally upload private playlist URLs to our servers.

Network and technical information

When the Application retrieves a playlist or plays a stream, your device connects directly to the relevant host, broadcaster, content provider, or Cast receiver. Those third parties can receive information normally included in an internet request, including your IP address, device information, request time, and requested URL, under their own privacy policies.

The Application may use service providers for advertising, consent management, diagnostics, and distribution. When enabled, these services may process device identifiers, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, advertising interactions, diagnostics, and application usage information. We request consent where required by law. We do not sell private playlists.

Advertising

The Application is intended to be supported by advertising. Advertising providers such as Google may use advertising identifiers and similar technologies, approximate location, device information, and advertisement interactions to deliver and measure ads, limit repetition, and prevent fraud. Personalized advertising will only be requested where permitted and after legally required consent. Android settings allow users to reset or limit their advertising identifier.

Public directories and third-party content

The Application may show attributed links from community-maintained public directories such as IPTV-org. We do not control those websites, playlists, streams, or privacy practices. Third-party services are governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

Casting

When Cast to TV is used, Google Play services and the selected Cast device process information required to discover the device, create a session, and load the selected stream URL. Google handles information under its own privacy policies.

YouTube API Services

The Short Shows feature (Real Story, Religious Story, Songs, and Short Drama) retrieves video listings, thumbnails, and playback from YouTube using the YouTube API Services. By using this feature you are also bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. We do not use the YouTube API Services to sign you in to a Google account, and we do not access your Google account data; requests are made using an app-level API key to fetch publicly available playlist information.

Permissions

Internet and network-state access are used to retrieve playlists, play streams, discover compatible Cast devices, retrieve and play YouTube videos for Short Shows, and support advertising. Local files are accessed through Android’s system file picker only after the user chooses a file. The core player does not require contacts, microphone, camera, or precise GPS location.

Retention and deletion

Locally saved playlists, favourites, and settings remain until deleted in the Application, application storage is cleared, or the Application is uninstalled. Third-party providers retain information according to their own policies. Users may contact us about information under our control.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, but no electronic transmission or storage system is completely secure. Users should protect private playlist credentials and use trusted sources.

Children’s privacy

The Application is not directed to children under 13 or the applicable minimum digital-consent age. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided such information.

Your privacy rights

Depending on location, users may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal information under our control, withdraw consent, or opt out of targeted advertising or legally defined sale/sharing. We do not discriminate against users for exercising applicable rights.

Do Not Track

There is no universally accepted standard for browser or device Do Not Track signals. The Application does not currently respond to those signals. Android advertising controls, consent choices, and provider-specific privacy choices remain available.

IPTV player content disclaimer

The Application is a media player and playlist-management tool. It does not host, broadcast, own, sell, or control television channels, video files, or third-party streams. Users are responsible for ensuring they are authorized to access the content they add or select and that their use complies with applicable laws. We do not verify every third-party stream and cannot guarantee its availability, legality, accuracy, or security.

International processing

Third-party providers may process information outside a user’s country. Where required, those providers are responsible for appropriate safeguards under their published policies.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy for changes to the Application, providers, legal requirements, or data practices. We will update the effective date and may provide an in-app notice of material changes. Users should review this Policy periodically.
