Location:
Ascension Memorial Church Boone Hall

The second Ipswich Train Cafe is an event celebrating trains and why we love them. An event tailored towards those on the autism spectrum and their families, it will provide an open and welcoming space with toy trains to play with, arts and crafts and information from train-related organizations throughout New England. Plus, as the event's 8-year-old co-originator said, "There has to be coffee for the adults," thus the Cafe part of the event title.
Admission is free and no RSVP is required.
We will be collecting cleaning supplies and personal care items at the entrance of this event to benefit the Ipswich Housing Authority.
We will be collecting dish soap, sponges, Brillo pads, Windex and other cleaning sprays, multi-surface disinfecting wipes, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and menstrual care products (pads and tampons) to be made available to Ipswich residents in need. Even if you aren't attending the Train Cafe, please consider dropping by that day to make a donation of one of these items.
We are looking for event sponsorships to help cover facility rental and coffee costs. Please email katcornetta@gmail.com if your company or organization is interested.
We would love volunteers! (We are prepared to provide/complete paperwork to confirm volunteer hours if you need that for school.) Please email katcornetta@gmail.com to volunteer before or during the event!
We would love to provide information about train events/museums/displays to our attendees, as well as information about resources for the autism community. Please email katcornetta@gmail.com to speak further.
