Login using username and password.
Click on iPSpine application.
Click on Cases tab.
Click on Start to start a new case e.g., Biomaterial development-NCM-PEG hydrogel, Biomaterial Development_HA-NCM1 or Biomaterial Development_Albugel.
Select the relevant case from the menu (left).
Give a specific name for the case (right).
Put any additional information about the material you are working on, if needed.
On the current page you will see the following sections. Click on Show diagram to see the tasks/stages on the diagram .
Available/Active stages: Shows the list of active stages. This section is just for representation; no functionality is provided by clicking on the stages.
Ended stages: Shows the list completed stages. This section is just for representation; no functionality is provided by clicking on the stages.
Active tasks : Shows the active tasks that you can select and store data by clicking on it.
Completed tasks: Shows the completed tasks (if there is any). You can select and view the previously stored data.
Available milestones: Shows the list of targets(milestones) in the process. By completing the tasks, these milestones will be reached. This section is just for representation; no functionality is provided by clicking on the milestones.
Reached milestones: Shows the list of targets(milestones) reached in the process. This section is just for representation; no functionality is provided by clicking on the milestones
Investigate the tasks on the diagram.
Green: Active Tasks/Stages (Tasks/Stages available for execution, data collection.)
Yellow: Available Tasks/Stages (Tasks/Stages that will be active when the preceding tasks/stages are completed)
(O): Optional Task
Click on one of the Active Tasks to store data and complete the task.
Each task has an associated form where you can fill in the relevant information. Investigate the fields you would like to fill in.
Fill in the information and click complete.
When a task is completed, the form for the next task is opened immediately. Ignore this task and click on ‘Cases’ to go to the main page.
Make sure that the correct case is selected on the left.
Click on ‘Show diagram’ to investigate the current progress/status on the diagram.
Investigate the diagram.
Blue: Completed Tasks/Stages
Gray: Terminated( Not completed) Tasks or Ended Stages( when the stage is completed with only some of the tasks inside it are complete)
Green: Active Tasks/Stages (Tasks/Stages available for execution, data collection.)
Yellow: Available Tasks/Stages (Tasks/Stages that will be active when the preceding tasks/stages are completed)
Repeat steps starting from Step 9 to complete all other necessary tasks and store data.
Use the buttons (under“Available user event listeners”) to complete a stage. If all tasks in the stage are completed, the stage is completed automatically. If only some tasks in a stage are completed and these are sufficient, then the stage must be completed manually by clicking the buttons. Click on the buttons if necessary, then repeat Step 10 to go to the main page.
Once a stage is complete, you see it on the main page under ‘Ended Stages’.
If a change or update is required in the forms, click on ‘Update required”.
A new task “Update Data” will be active. Click on this task to choose the form to be updated.
Choose the form to be updated. Click Save and Complete.
The chosen task will be active again. Click on the task and update the form.
When updating information, do not delete the existing information (numbers, documents etc.).
In the additional notes field, state the reason for update, updated field and the final information.
When all stages are completed, the case will be completed. Use the menu on the left to investigate running and completed cases.
Click on a completed case to see the tasks performed. Click on a completed task to investigate the data stored.
Use the menu on the left to investigate the different running cases. E.g., Biomaterial Development_HA-NCM1 and Biomaterial Development_Albugel.
