The Centre for Intellectual Property Rights(CIPR) was established by the University for advanced legal studies, research and advocacy to address the issues and challenges relating to IP Laws. The Centre is working on offering courses, conducting seminars, conferences, and capacity building programmes for identified target groups on IPR matters.
The Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), Nagpur, jointly with the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), Geneva and the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Intellectual Property Management (RGNIIPM), Nagpur has been organising the ‘WIPO India Summer School on Intellectual Property’ from preceding two years at Nagpur, Maharashtra. The first edition was conducted on November 6-17, 2017 and the second on July 2-13, 2018.
