The project involved 16 children from Rainbow Home, Ipoh and was held on the 3rd September 2022 at Ipoh Parade. From this project, the children were able to experience the lantern-making process and have a great time with the Leos during the Lions x Ipoh Parade Lantern Making Contest 3.0, which was organised by 23 Lions Clubs in Region 5, 6 & 7.
They are required to make a lantern with the help of the Leos for the on-site lantern making contest using the recyclable items to prove that even recycled materials can be used back as lantern materials.
In this project, we can also increase the awareness of children that we should practise recycling in our daily life.
