An innovation project must be an original idea of creation. Any form of plagiarism is prohibited and will result in disqualification. However, participants may adapt to improve the existing ideas if those aspects of improvements are the key factors in producing a creative masterpiece.
For the innovation competition, participants MUST submit ONE (1) abstract, ONE (1) e-poster, and ONE (1) short video.
For conference presentation, participants MUST submit ONE (1) abstract and ONE (1) full paper.

Abstract writing can be in English or Bahasa Malaysia.
Innovation Title:
a. Upper Case, Bold, Font 12 and Times New Roman.
Name of The Author and Institution
a. Capitalize Each Word, Font 12 and Times New Roman.
Number of Words
a. The Number of Words Is 80 – 200.
b. Font Size: 12
c. Font Type: New Roman Times.
The Content of the Abstract Should Include the Following:
a. Background
b. Problem Statement
c. Objectives
d. Invention Description/Innovation Product/Innovation Ideas
e. Gain / Benefit / Impact
f. Conclusion
g. Keywords

Innovation Poster Format
Each poster must follow the following specifications:
Each participant MUST submit ONE (1) poster.
The poster must be of A3 size and in the PDF format.
The Innovation Poster must include the following mandatory sections:
a. Title of Innovation Product/ Project
b. Group Members/Organisation Name
c. Innovation Objective
d. Problem Statement
e. Implementation Level
f. Innovation Product/ Project Impact
g. Uses and Applications
h. Authenticity/ Novelty
i. Commercial Potential/ Commercialisation/ Publishing Status
The background design of the poster is based on the template given.

Innovation Video Format
Each entry MUST submit ONE (1) video related to the innovation product/ project.
The videos should be between 3 to 5 minutes in length.
The innovation videos can be produced in English or Malay (with English subtitles).
The innovation videos must be uploaded to the YouTube channel or any related cloud storage. Only the video link will be submitted in the Innovation Video Submission Form.
The Innovation video must include the following mandatory sections:
a. The presentation's content MUST be relevant to the content of the innovation poster.
c. The demonstration session of the product/project innovation.
The performance of the video is based on the creativity of the participants.
Paper format
Paper format
Full paper submission is OPTIONAL.
The full paper can be written in English or Bahasa Malaysia,
ALL ACCEPTED papers will be published in the IPiTEC2024 e-proceeding.
