This privacy policy covers the following Chrome browser extensions: Night Switch — TIPT Hunt Group Diversion and TIPT Click-to-Call. Allows users to place outbound calls via the Telstra TIPT BroadWorks XSI-Actions API. This policy explains what information the extension stores, how it is used, and what is transmitted.
We are committed to your privacy. The extension does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on any external server controlled by the developer.
The extension stores the following data locally in your Chrome browser profile only, using the chrome.storage.local API:
Data Purpose
TIPT User ID Pre-fill sign-in form and authenticate API requests
TIPT Password (if "Remember" is enabled) Auto sign-in on next use
Contact list (uploaded by user) Display in the directory for click-to-call
Call history Show recent calls and enable redial
Enterprise directory cache Cache TIPT enterprise directory for fast searching (expires after 1 hour)
Preferred settings (directory scope) Remember user preferences
This data is stored on your local device as part of your Chrome profile. It is never transmitted to any server other than Telstra's TIPT platform as described below.
When you use the extension, it makes HTTPS requests directly from your browser to Telstra's TIPT BroadWorks XSI-Actions API.
Endpoint: xsi-actions.tipt.telstra.com
This is Telstra's TIPT BroadWorks XSI-Actions API. The following data is transmitted to this endpoint:
· Your TIPT User ID and password for authentication via HTTPS Basic Auth
· Requests to read your user profile and TIPT directory
· Instructions to place outbound calls from your registered handset
This data is transmitted solely for the purpose of authenticating with and controlling your Telstra TIPT service. No data is sent to any other server, service, or third party — including the developer.
TIPT Click-to-Call does not:
· Collect analytics or usage statistics
· Track which contacts you call or how often
· Send any data to the developer or any third party
· Use advertising networks
· Access your browsing history, tabs, or other browser data
· Transmit your contact list to any server
· Store any data outside your local Chrome profile
All locally stored data is held in your Chrome browser profile using the chrome.storage.local API:
· Stored on your local device only
· Accessible only to this extension
· Cleared if you uninstall the extension or sign out within the extension
· Protected by your operating system's user account security
If you enable "Remember credentials," your TIPT password is stored locally. We recommend enabling this only on personal or secured work devices. You can clear all stored data at any time by signing out within the extension or uninstalling it.

No other permissions are requested or used.
TIPT Click-to-Call communicates only with Telstra's TIPT BroadWorks XSI platform at xsi-actions.tipt.telstra.com. This service is operated by Telstra Corporation and is subject to Telstra's own privacy policy and terms of service.

This extension is a business productivity tool intended for use by adults in a professional capacity. It is not directed at children under the age of 13.
