What is IPA Mona A and IPA Mona series

IPA Mona Font series is known as traditional compatible font of MS Gothic, MS Mincho, MS PGothic, MS PMincho, MS UI Gothic (MS Japanese Fonts). This is designed to display ASCII arts(AA) properly as well as Mona Font based on Shinonome Font.

You can use IPA Mona series to display documents made in Windows with MS Japanese Fonts because this typeface is designed with same width / height.

BTW, the development of IPA Mona series seems ended in 2008. Because this is based on the technology on the time, we sometime cannot use this on advanced softwares includes Adobe softwares. To solve this problem, I compiled this font again to comply OpenType system of today.

We allow you to use this typeface on the license as same as original IPA Mona Fonts. It means using in your commercial/ non-commercial works is allowed. But you need to persure the rules/licenses written in each font licenses.
