One of the uses of the Metabrush app is to produce interesting patterns shapes to use in iColorama to distort other images through. Here I used a simple scribble in made in Metabrush to distort the face from a classic painting into this swirly figure.
I started with this photo from the Rijksmuseum website, which provides high-resolution images free to use and modify for any purpose, in their Rijksstudio.
I created this image in the Metabrush app.
In iColorama, in Effect/Distort, I distorted the painting over the Metabrush image. Then I processed for color and tone for the final image.
