This Rhino was perfect for blending a scene into. I created this improbable composite of a cityscape seen through the Rhino, as if captured inside it somehow.
I started with this photo from the Rijksmuseum website, which provides high-resolution images free to use and modify for any purpose, in their Rijksstudio.
In iColorama, I used Effect/Denoise to smooth the image.
I used this photo from Pixabay, a source of copyright-free images.
Using Effect/Blend, I blended the city image on top of the rhino. I used a brush mask around the edges of the rhino, to preserve a white background.
In Effect/Blend, I blended in a sky, using a brush mask to confine the effect to the top half of the image.
I used this photo of mine for the sky.
Here is a Rijksmuseum image I will use for some grass I will blend into the image.
I modified the color in Tone/Enhance. I did some smoothing and sharpening. I painted in the green grass from the Rijksmuseum image. And I applied Tone/Duotone in Multiply mode at low opacity to the entire image.
