I created a face on a sphere, that is three faces sharing four eyes. I used texture to create the impression of a hollow sphere covered in string or woven branches.
I started with this photo from Pixabay, a source of copyright-free images. I like her sideways, serious expression.
In iColorama, to smooth her face, I used Effect/Denoise Smooth preset and a touch of Effect/Glow preset 3.
I used Form/Warp to change the shape of her face and enlarge her eyes, and making her mouth more pursed.
I applied Adjust/Tonelab preset 4, Tone/Enhance preset 2, and Vibrance, all at low opacity, to enhance the color and tone of the image.
I deepened the eye color in Tone/Tint, using an inverted brush mask to apply the effect only to her eyes.
Using Brush/Paint, I painted in catchlights in her eyes. Using an inverted brush mask, I smoothed the catchlights in Style/Coherence, zooming way in and using a tiny brush.
Based on the above image, I used the Trimaginator app to produce this image. I used the Scaffolder rendering style with white lines (these are choices in Trimaginator's lower left corner).
Back in iColorama, I used one of the presets in Style/Edges to create this.
I used Style/Flow at low opacity to smooth the image. The I used Effect/Raise for emphasis. I used Style/ET-Flow at medium opacity to add an interesting texture. In ET/Flow, experiment with all the sliders, including the sliders under Settings.
Now I used Effect/Blend to blend in some of the original.
Using Form/Glass preset 3, with the size slider at the max setting, I used an inverted brush mask so the effect is only on the right side. I moved the x and y settings to position the effect where I wanted it.
Going back to the step before I used Form/Glass, I applied Form/Glass preset 3, with the size slider at the max setting, this time using an inverted brush mask so the effect is only on the left side. I moved the x and y settings to position the effect where I wanted it.
Using Effect/Blend, I blended the previous two images, using a brush mask.
I darkened the background using Adjust/Exposure and a brush mask.
I tweaked the eye positions in Form/Warp. I tweaked the contrast in Adjust/Levels. I sharpened the eyes in Effect/Sharpen, using a brush mask. I added brightness to the catchlights using Exposure and an inverted brush mask. I muted the colors using Tone/Sepia at low opacity.
I added a "Nebula" using AlienSky.
I slightly muted the colors with a bluish Tone/Pastel preset at low opacity.
To emphasize the highlights, I used Effect/Light at medium opacity.
