I love the unexpected. Here I created a face in the moon that is three faces sharing four eyes. I added some atmosphere to make the result more like a planet floating in outer space.
I started with this image that I created previously. You can see how I created it here.
In iColorama, I uused Form/Glass preset 3, with the size slider to the max setting, and using an inverted brush mask so that the effect is only on the right side of the image. I moved the x and y settings to position the effect where I wanted it.
I did the same on the left side. Then I used Adjust/Exposure and a brush mask to darken the background.
I used Adjust/Tonelab preset 4 at low opacity for clarity and depth.
I applied Tone/Sepia at low opacity, to mute the colors a bit.
To smooth the faces, I used Effect/Denoise Smooth preset. Then I used Effect/Blur and an inverted brush mask to paint away some areas that had become pixelated as a result of the previous processing.
I applied Tone/Tint to put some harvest-moon-like color in the faces.
I used a preset in Texture/Leak to give an eerie glow to the moon.
I will use this image from Pixabay, a source of copyright-free images, to blend over the moon.
In Effect/Blend, I blended the purple clouds over the moon, using a brush mask to make just a swath purpose cloud across the moon, plus a bit of purple cloud in the lower right corner.
For finishing touches, I applied Adjust/Levels to increase brightness and contrast. I used Tone, Adjust/Tonelab, and Effect/Sharpen, using an inverted brush mask to paint these effects on just the eyes and lips. I applied Effect/Raise with a brush mask to prevent the Raise from affecting the purple haze.
