More than gutters. A friendship, a crazy idea, and a crew that decided to see where a simple “what if?” could go.
From “What If?” to Iowa Gutter Bandits
From “What If?” to Iowa Gutter Bandits
Iowa Gutter Bandits didn't start in a boardroom or with some big business plan. It started with two friends.
Scott and Ayden's friendship grew from trading their skills and helping each other out. Somewhere along the way, an ordinary conversation turned into a couple of “what ifs?”—and those what-ifs turned into a trip to buy a ready-to-go gutter trailer.
Just like that, an idea became something real.
Today, they bring their combined experience, problem-solving skills and personalities to every job—with a simple goal: do quality work, treat people right and build something they're proud to put their names behind.

Scott|Co-Owner
With more than 25 years of hands-on handyman knowledge, Scott is the guy who believes there's usually a solution—you just have to figure it out. He brings practical experience, problem solving and a “finish what you start” mentality to IGB.
He's just as comfortable talking with a homeowner as he is figuring out a challenge on the jobsite, and there's usually some humor mixed in along the way.
Ayden|Co-Owner
Ayden|Co-Owner
Ayden brings more than 10 years of experience running successful businesses, building customer relationships and getting things done. A natural people person, he combines the business side of IGB with plenty of hands-on work in the field.
His quick wit keeps things entertaining, but when there's a job to finish, he's ready to get after it.
It Takes a Crew
It Takes a Crew
The Bandits may have started with Scott and Ayden, but keeping a small business moving takes a crew. From scheduling and social media to apparel, creative ideas, snacks, helping on jobs and teaching the younger generation the trade, IGB has plenty of hands behind the scenes.
We're building more than a business. We're building something our families, friends and next generation of Bandits can be proud of.
