Rates

HOURLY MINIMUMS

We have a two hour minimum for all local moves, deliveries, and in-house moves and a four hour minimum for all regional, intrastate, and interstate moves.

TRAVEL/TRANSPORTATION FEES

No travel charge for moves within 15 miles of the Iowa City or Cedar Rapids area. $2.00/mile one way travel fee for all moves located at a distance greater than 15 miles.

PACKING SERVICES

We have a packing service available at our full service rates + $5.00/box (various sizes provided-all boxes include packing paper and tape). You may always opt to provide your own boxes and packing materials as well and we'll even tell you the best places to purchase them.

LONG DISTANCE MOVING

Intrastate and Interstate moves are charged $4.00/per loaded mile (one-way distance between origin and destination locations only) in addition to the rates specified above. Walk through estimates are required (free of charge) for most larger households and long distance moves. We offer flat rate pricing on all long distance moves so you know exactly how much you will pay before we even start your move.

LABOR ONLY MOVING-without EQUIPMENT

$70/hour (2 movers-two hour minimum). Additional movers at $30/hour-each. Minimum: $140

You provide the rental truck, trailer, or mobile storage container and all necessary moving equipment. This service also includes in-house moving. We provide the muscle and the moving expertise. No rental truck driving provided. This service is great for loading/unloading your provided rental truck when you just need a little extra help on a DIY move.

LABOR ONLY MOVING-with EQUIPMENT

$80/hour (2 movers-two hour minimum). Additional movers at $40/hour-each. Minimum: $160

You provide the rental truck, trailer, or mobile storage container and We provide all necessary moving equipment (including moving blankets/pads, handtrucks, four wheel dollies, stretch film, plastic mattress covers, ratchet straps, hump straps, and basic tools). This service also includes in-house moving. No rental truck driving provided. This service is great for loading/unloading your rental truck when you just require movers to help with the heavy furniture and will handle boxes/small items on your own.

FULL SERVICE MOVING-TRUCK with EQUIPMENT

$80/hour (2 movers-two hour minimum). Additional movers at $40/hour-each.

16' box truck ($120/flat fee for the move duration) or 26' box truck ($170/flat free for the move duration). Minimum: $280

We provide the labor, the truck (if needed), and all necessary moving equipment (...including moving blankets/pads, handtrucks, four wheel dollies, stretch film, plastic mattress covers, ratchet straps, hump straps, and basic tools). This service is great when you require that most aspects of your move be organized and serviced by an experienced company. This is the most convenient option and we strive to make it the most efficient as well.
