This Privacy Policy explains how the Daff Moon application (“we”, “our”, “the app”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application.
We value your privacy. Daff Moon does not collect or store any personally identifiable information.

2.1 Location Data

• The app may request access to your precise location (latitude and longitude) to perform accurate astronomical calculations (e.g., Moon and Sun positions, rise and set times, eclipses).

• This data is used only on your device and never sent to any server or third party.

• You can disable location access anytime in iOS Settings.

2.2 Advertising (AdMob)

• Daff Moon uses Google AdMob to display ads.

• AdMob may automatically collect and process certain information from your device to provide and measure ads, including:

  • Approximate location (e.g., country, city),

  • Device identifiers (e.g., IDFA or similar),

  • Ad interaction data (e.g., impressions, clicks),

  • Device and network information (e.g., app version, IP address, language, platform).

• This information is used by Google to:

  • Deliver ads (personalized or non-personalized),

  • Limit repeated ads,

  • Measure ad effectiveness,

  • Detect fraud and abuse.

Personalized ads:
If you allow tracking (via iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt), AdMob may use your activity across other apps and websites to show more relevant ads.

Non-personalized ads:
If you deny tracking, AdMob will show contextual ads based only on general factors like app content or approximate location.

2.3 In-App Purchases

• Daff Moon offers optional in-app purchases (for example, donations or removing ads).

• All transactions are processed securely through Apple’s App Store.

• We do not collect, store, or have access to any payment information.

2.4 Analytics and Diagnostics

• The app may receive anonymous crash or performance reports from Apple for debugging purposes.

• These reports do not include personal information.

3. Data Sharing

• We do not share any data with third parties, except as required for the services listed above.

• The only third-party service that may process limited data is Google AdMob for advertising.

4. Tracking and Consent

• On iOS 14+ devices, you may be asked to grant permission for tracking across apps and websites.

• If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, AdMob will show non-personalized ads.

• You can change your choice anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy → Tracking.

5. Your Choices

• Disable location access in: Settings → Privacy → Location Services → Daff Moon.

• Manage ad personalization: Settings → Privacy → Tracking or Advertising.

• You can continue using the app even if you disable tracking or ads personalization.

6. Children’s Privacy

Daff Moon is not directed toward children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under this age.

7. Data Retention

Daff Moon does not retain any user data. All calculations are performed locally on the device.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the app and/or on our website.
