Ahoi everyone!

So, my name is Ione (Yoh-neh), and I live in Berlin, Germany. My last year has been a life game changer and art has been one of the most important (almost) daily practices that has made it so. Painting has made a strong comeback into my life after maybe 20 years of hardly no relationship. Watercolours got me back into it last summer, and I’m very in love with their organic look and flow. They also combine very well with drawing which was my thing as a kid. 

My series is on underwater creatures. They are gorgeous, otherworldly beings, and they suit the unpredictability of watercolour rather well. I am calling my series “Patterns of Flow”. They are “ways” to live without getting in the way of life.
