What is this silliness all about?

We are glad you asked.

The paintball community is disproportionately affected by mental health issues and domestic violence. The Highland Games is intended to be a fun event to raise awareness of these issues and to support members of our community who are doing great things to serve those who are in need, providing resources for their recovery, and developing outreach programs to aid in breaking the cycle.

What the heck is a "Clan" and a "Champion"?

Excellent question!

It is our hope to have scenario teams in attendance of Skirmish Invasion of Normandy participate as "Clans" who nominate a member of their team as a "Clan Champion" to represent them in this contest. This is intended to break-up the costs of entry across teams, rather than placing the burden on one individual, and to rally supporters for the event.

What will the prize packages include?

We are still working to finalize agreements with vendors and industry partners, so an official prize package cannot yet be announced. BUT, we are promising for first place winners a gun, a tank, a mask, AND a pod pack at the very least. The brands are TBD at this time.

Participants will also receive a medal, and the top three finishers will receive trophies to take back to their respective Clans.

What does this have to do with paintball?

Nothing. Beyond the fact that Ally Remembered is a foundation owned and operated by paintball family, this has nothing to do with paintball at all. It is not paintball event, and it has no impact whatsoever on Skimish IoN.

Skirmish has been generous enough to allow us to host this event on their grounds concurrently with IoN festivities.

Why Highland Games?

Because we are the 51st Highland Division. And, why not?
