Library Rules

Rules for Issuing Books:

1. Three books will be issued on Library card at a time to the students for 15 days which can be reissued once.

2. Fine of Rs. 2/- will be charged for late return book, after due date.

3. Reference Books and Library copies will not be issued to out of the Library.

4. Periodicals, newspapers, project report, CDs will not be issued to the students & faculty out of the Library.

General Rules:

1. Student should enter their name, class; arrival, departure timing, & sign in the usage register which is kept on circulation counter while entering the Library.

This is essential for library usage report.

2. Use of mobile phone is strictly prohibited. If any user is found talking on the phone strict action will be taken against that person.

3. Smoking, eating, chewing tobacco is strictly prohibited.

4. Students are supposed to keep their bags, personal reading material and other belongings outside the library. The library staff will not be responsible for the loss or damage of the student’s belongings.

5. Students will be allowed to use the library during free periods only.

6. Students are requested to keep the book/journal or any other material used in their respective place after using.

7. No library material will be taken out of the library without the permission of the Librarian.

8. Books, periodicals or any other library material will be issued only on production of a valid I-Card.

9. A book issued can be renewed on or before the due date, “Once” for a period of 8 more days only.

10. A late fine of Rs. 2/- will charged per book per day.

11. Issue of books will be restored once the dues are paid in the account section and receipt is shown to the Librarian.

12. Students should inspect the condition of the book before borrowing it and inform the Librarian about missing or torn pages if any. Otherwise, concerned student will be held responsible for the same.

13. If a book is lost, the concerned person has to replace the lost book with new book, as well as pay the fine.

14. Please maintain silence in the Library.
