The Institute of Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences at Hanyang University was established by experts in marine science and atmospheric science with a shared vision. The institute aims to address urgent marine environmental issues, such as climate change, environmental pollution, and the resulting ecological responses, which have recently emerged as global threats to human survival and prosperity. By approaching these issues from an interdisciplinary perspective and proposing solutions, the institute seeks to contribute to both society and academic knowledge.
