A luxurious edition on the history of the churches of Ilion city and their evolution over the years, the result of detailed research, collection of historical data and documentation, is now available to its inhabitants. The presentation of the book was brilliantly carried out at the Town Hall of Ilion, by the Assoc. Professor of General Ecclesiastical History of the EKPA School of Theology Ioannis Panagiotopoulos, in the presence of the Mayor Nikos Zenetos, the representative of the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Mr. Hieronymos, Archimandrite and Second Secretary of of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece Fr. Nikodimos Athanasiou, the representative of the Metropolitan of Ilios, Mr. Athenagoras, Archimandrite Fr. Symeon Augoustakis, as well as multitudes of clergy and people (22.11.2023).
