Privacy Policy for InvoiceFlow: Invoice Maker

Thank you for using InvoiceFlow: Invoice Maker ("the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the App.

1. Overview

InvoiceFlow is a privacy-focused invoice generator designed for freelancers, consultants, contractors, agencies, and small businesses.

The App works primarily offline and does not require user registration or login.

While your invoice data always remains on your device, the App uses Google Firebase Analytics and Google AdMob to improve the App and display advertisements.

2. Information You Enter

To create invoices, you may enter business-related information including:

Business name
Business address
Business email
Business phone number
Tax ID (optional)
Bank details (optional)
Company logo (optional)

You may also enter client information, including:

Client name
Client address
Client email
Client phone number

Invoice information may include:

Invoice number
Invoice date
Due date
Products or services
Quantity

Total amount
Notes

This information is used solely to generate invoices and remains stored locally on your device.

3. Local Storage

All invoice data is stored locally on your Android device using SQLite (Room Database).

We do not upload your invoices, client information, or business information to our own servers.

The App currently does not provide cloud synchronization or online backup.

Data Export: The App allows you to export your invoice data into CSV or PDF formats. Once exported, these files are saved in your device's cache/storage or shared via third-party apps (like Email or WhatsApp) at your direction. You are responsible for the security and privacy of these exported files once they leave the App.

4. Firebase Analytics

InvoiceFlow uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used and to improve performance, stability, and user experience.

Firebase Analytics may automatically collect limited information such as:

App version
Device model
Android version
Country or region (general location)
Device language
App interactions
Feature usage
App performance
Crash diagnostics (if enabled)

This information is anonymous and is used only to improve the App.

We do not use Firebase Analytics to collect or upload:

Invoice contents
Client information
Business information
PDF invoices

5. Analytics Events

The App may record anonymous events including:

These analytics events do not include the contents of your invoices or personal business data.

6. Advertising

InvoiceFlow uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

Google AdMob may automatically collect certain information such as:

Device identifiers

App interactions
Approximate location (derived from IP)
Diagnostic information

This information is used by Google to:

Display personalized or non-personalized ads

Please note that certain anonymous technical information may be collected automatically by third-party services such as Google Firebase Analytics and Google AdMob for analytics, advertising, diagnostics, and fraud prevention.

8. Permissions

InvoiceFlow is designed to require only the permissions necessary for its core functionality.

The App does not request access to:

Camera
Contacts
Microphone
SMS
Call Logs
Location

The App uses Android's FileProvider only to securely share generated PDF invoices with other applications (such as Gmail, WhatsApp, or other sharing apps).

FileProvider does not provide access to your personal files, gallery, or storage beyond the file you choose to share.

Biometric Authentication: The App offers an optional Biometric App Lock feature using Android's standard BiometricPrompt API. We do not access, collect, or store your fingerprint, iris, or facial data. The authentication process is handled entirely by the Android operating system on your device, which only informs the App if the authentication was successful.

10. Data Security

Your invoices, business information, and client information remain stored on your device.

If you uninstall the App or use the Reset All Data feature, all locally stored information will be permanently deleted.

Because your invoice data is never stored on our servers, we cannot recover deleted information.

11. Children's Privacy

InvoiceFlow is intended for business and professional use.

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Any updates will be posted on this page together with a revised Effective Date.
