Digital World Invoice Generator

Digital World (“we”, “us”) develops the Digital World Invoice Generator Chrome extension (“the extension”). This policy explains what information the extension handles and how.
The extension keeps your data on your own device. We do not collect it, receive it, transmit it, or share it with anyone.
You type the following into the extension. It is used only to create your invoices:
Your business details: name, address, email, phone number, tax ID, website and logo
Your clients’ details: name, address, email, phone number and tax ID
Invoice content: invoice numbers, dates, line items, prices, discounts, tax rates, notes and payment instructions
Your settings: currency, numbering, template, colour and font preferences
All of this is saved only in your browser’s local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your device. It is never sent to Digital World or to any server.
We do not collect, receive, or have access to your data.
We do not transmit your data over the internet. The extension works offline and makes no network requests.
We do not use analytics, tracking, advertising, or third-party services.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data.
We do not use your data to determine creditworthiness or for lending.
We do not load or run remote code. All code, including the PDF library, is included in the extension package.
storage / unlimitedStorage: used to save your invoices, client details, business profile, logo and settings locally. Unlimited storage prevents saves from failing as you accumulate invoices and logo images.
The extension requests no access to the websites you visit or your browsing history.
When you download an invoice or export a backup, the file is created on your device and saved wherever you choose. We never receive these files. If you share them (for example by email), that is your choice, and the recipient’s handling of them is outside our control.
You can edit or delete any invoice or client inside the extension. Under Settings, “Delete all data” erases everything the extension has stored. Uninstalling the extension also removes its stored data from your browser. Because we hold no copy, we cannot recover data you delete, so we recommend exporting a backup file from time to time.
The extension is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone.
If the extension’s data practices ever change, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date before the change takes effect. We will not introduce data collection or sharing without clearly disclosing it here.
