The Invertebrate Club of Southern California (ICSC) is dedicated to building the community of invertebrate enthusiasts, breeders, conservationists, and researchers in Southern California. Since its founding in 2019, the ICSC has become California's largest amateur invertebrate enthusiast organization, hosting monthly meetings, collecting trips, outreaches, and other events.
We foster the community of invertebrate lovers in Southern California, whether through connecting bug keepers with experienced breeders, educating the public at outreach events, or working with professional conservationists and citizen scientists to protect the spineless creatures we love. Our membership is comprised of all ages and drawn from the invertebrate pet hobby, naturalist community, and entomology/arachnology worlds. Together we breed, study, and protect the world's smaller majority.
As Southern California's eminent "bug club," the ICSC offers:
A local community of invert-lovers
Unique collecting trips, meetings, and other events
Access to world-renowned guest speakers
Opportunities to participate in habitat restoration and outreaches
Access to care and research resources
Club-only discounts from sponsors
And so much more!
There are no membership dues or age limit.
