During the day, there will be many displays and activities for students
8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. (anytime)
project registration and set up
10:00 a.m. to 10:30 am
Opening ceremonies for all the MSSS/Alien participants
10:30-10:45 a.m.
Organize groups and set up for activities
10:45 – 12:00 p.m.
Student Activities
12:00-1:00
Lunch inside the Max Bell gym- please bring a bag lunch
1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Science Activities
3:00 p.m.
Arrange for pick-up.
3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Public viewing ( Students do not need to be by projects, but are welcome to return or stay with family and friends)
Saturday April 11, 2026
9:00- 12:00 p.m.
Judging of Alien Projects. Two judges will see each project. Students should bring a chair, a book or some other quiet activity to do while they wait. Please do not leave until your project has been marked “Judging Completed” as judges can return to ask more questions.
12:00-2:50 - Free time - no planned activities. Students are free to leave building
2:50 – 4:00 p.m.
Alien Awards Ceremony - meet by the projects and we will walk to the ceremony location together
4:00 – 4:30 p.m.
Take down projects—Invent an Alien is completed.
